My goal in life is glorify God in all that I do, desiring to demonstrate to those around me that God is so good and so very real. I go about it rather clumsily, but well-intentioned!
I had the privilege of being homeschooled, which enabled me to graduate with a bachelor of science in nursing and become a registered nurse at 19 years old with the intent of using those skills in ministry. After getting my still very young feet wet as a nurse in a children’s hospital, I was able to go on several international mission trips. Realizing some of the limits of my experience and medical knowledge, I chose to complete a masters in nursing and become a pediatric nurse practitioner. After graduating, working for a bit in the United States as a nurse practitioner, and completing a nine-month ministry training, I finally headed out to Mozambique. I spent 7 years in the incredibly beautiful country of Mozambique as a medical missionary before returning to the United States in 2019.
I am currently in Arizona where my family lives where I most recently worked in a pediatric clinic for several years.
I am now embarking on the journey of becoming an author, and I pray that God will use the stories that I tell for His glory and to bless and encourage others.
